IUI timing with ovacue/opk
The older you get, the shorter the interval of time between a detectable surge in LH and the release of your egg. And by the time you are over 40, the egg may have already been released by the time you have enough LH in your urine to turn a kit positive. It's helpful to continue taking readings throughout your whole cycle and including the color codes to help with future cycle interpretation. At this point, it's very possible that ovulation occurred already. If your vaginal readings continue to remain elevated, then I would predict ovulation has occurred.
