How to turn off sleep mode on lenovo laptop
My computer runs out of battery after only 8 hours in sleep mode. On a battery powered laptop, inhibiting sleep or hibernation can result in data loss if the battery dies. How can I prevent my computer from automatically sleeping or hibernating?

I have a strange experience: When I plug-in adapter, then after about 3 seconds, many Mail notifications show up in Action center. Does anyone have an idea how to get Mail notifications when on battery power the same way as on adapter power?

Ben Richards 9, 7 42 Its perfectly fine to post a detailed answer but not select it as the right now. There is another setting you could check sorry, this system has German language set. Yes, those were both set to "Do nothing". Changing it doesn't seem to take, probably because of the Lenovo Power Manager.
Changed it to "sleep" and it now does so.

Why the heck would it have two conflicting options like that? Changing it didn't take. I can't recall the screen going blank while streaming or viewing video, but I don't have Netflix, so I don't know if that makes a difference. No screensaveer, xingcat, but that was a good thought.
Here are my Lenovo Power Manager settings: You could also try something like Mouse Jiggler if all else fails. There was a question about this previously and someone mentioned a fantastic little trick, which is to put your mouse on top of an analogue watch with a moving second hand.
It's a poor man's Mouse Jiggler and it works! If this is xp going into every account that is an admin of the computer and turn off the sleep settings.
